Cucumber gives the sub a little change to a classic NY sub. Very fresh and plenty of protein on the sandwich itself. I did not know boulder canyon had red wine vinegar, that was a plus.

The best deli experience you'll receive in the area for three simple reasons. Cost: You'll receive the most food and the most flavor for your dollar spent. They pack the sandwiches with more meat and substance than any other Deli in the area. Taste: A full sandwich doesn't make a good sandwich, but this place does it right. Some of their sandwiches have the most gentle tastes of spicy or sweet; and some both! It's such a unique taste that you won't find in many other places. I've tried several of their sandwiches and haven't been disappointed by one of them. "The Monster" is our top pick, and the BBQ Beef with added Jalapeños is my second favorite. Service: The staff is very kind and warming. You feel welcomed from your first visit and every visit there after. It makes the experience much more than just grabbing a sandwich. The inside is small and cozy with quiet relaxing vibes. Any one of the 3 positives above is a reason to visit. So why not go somewhere that will provide you with all 3?

The sandwiches taste great. Great variety of sandwiches or you can Build Your Own. They use Boar's Head meats, which in my opinion is one of best brands. The owners are really nice and seem to take pride in what they are making. Great little sandwich shop.

BABA!!!! What a gem. Tucked on the side of PCH a shiny diamond lies here!!! I would drive by and always see their sign and tell myself I need to go and try it... I finally did. I'm a HUGE fan of tuna so I had asked them how they make it because everyone makes tuna differently. They even let me sample it, how nice! I never been to a place that offers to sample their tuna salad. And let me tell you something, it was AMA-ZINNGGGG. I love tuna salad and theirs is definitely a winner in my books. I ended up building my own tuna sandwich! It came out absolutely delicious. The ingredients felt incredibly fresh and high quality and so did the tuna. Sometimes you can tell when tuna has been sitting out but their tuna salad was amazing. I can't get enough of how good my sub was. The customer service is top tier. The owner was there and he was extremely friendly. It felt like home. He told me I'd be back and I told him I can already tell! The place itself is very clean. There is some indoor seating and a selection of chips/drinks as well. A lot of NY style paintings which really help tie in the "NY style sub"! Parking can be a little tough because it is a small plaza but hey park at Popeyes and walk over if it's full because this place is worth your money!

Torrance Food Crawl #432 Baba's Deli Subs has only been open a few months and has quickly become my favorite sandwich restaurant in Torrance. There are nine basic sandwiches on the menu; however, you can also 'build your own sandwich' to get the exact sandwich with the exact ingredients you want. If you haven't been here before, I recommend that you first try Baba's Deli #1. It's an excellent introduction to what they offer, perhaps with some nice features you don't get at other sandwich shops. The sandwich includes turkey, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, jalapeños, onion, pickles, honey mustard, and mayo, on a sweet dark wheat bread. Everything comes together perfectly! Of course, there are other sandwiches, different variations of subs, and I've not had a bad one. The sandwiches are on the large side, so if you're starving, one sandwich will fill you up, or you can put aside the other half for later in the day (or split it with someone). If you, or someone in your party, is not in the mood for a sandwich, there are several different salads to choose from, but I'll be honest and admit that given a choice between a sandwich and a salad, a sandwich wins every time in my book. While most of their business is take-out, there are a few tables inside if you want to sit down. The owners have always been very polite and very willing to change up a sandwich if you need to make a minor change. Sometimes, there is a debate in my mind about whether or not I should give Yelp's highest rating to a restaurant. In this case, there is no debate, this is an easy five.

Awesome local deli. It uses Boar's Head meats & cheeses. They have a Specials Menu or Build your own option. Staff are very friendly. Really helpful & easygoing. *Easy parking! Lot in the back. The main street, PCH, is always busy. It's easier to park around back than in front. Warning: Check the Hours of Operation! They close a little early.

So we had a job in the area and thought about a sandwich. Found this place by chance and sure did make a good choice. We see suckers for a good sandwich. We ordered the monster and Italian sub and bit was it a lot of food. We didn't get to finish it, but it was definitely delicious. I think our eyes were bigger than our stomachs. Freshly sliced meats and fresh breads are what made the sandwich, but the condiments and vegetables really brought the freshness through. They were indeed delicious. Made to order and quickly too. This spot provides excellent customer service in a very clean and well represented store. We definitely will be back and recommend you try it. Sorry we didn't take pictures, we were hungry and got right to it. Next time!

I had split a NY Monster Sammie with the Hubs. Cajun turkey with Roast Beef, American Cheese, jalapenos, avo, honey mustard, etc. on dark, sweet wheat bread. Omg this combo was tasty, hearty and delicious. Definitely one of my fave sandwiches. This has to be shared. It's a think sandwich! I can't wait to go again. Very small, casual eating area.
